Re-framing the existing conditions of the Yarra River Basin to reveal the hydrological network. This Network expands much further than the management boundaries imply, thus revealing the river as a series of inputs, outputs and capacities.

Understanding the Lower Yarra River operates as a ‘Thickened Surface’. Revealing relationships between layers of Land occupation, Flooding and Stormwater drains. This forms a dispersed network of connected sites for dynamic public spaces. 

Restoration of a previously derelict Native Resource Garden. Grading existing topography to reposition garden above flood level and creation of access paths that connect to the large park network.
